The famous Skype that provides VOIP has now announced its release of an update that adds extra support to Nokia phones.
Skype was previously available on Symbian phones but its service did not support many phones by Nokia, and now it does. The upgrade is known as “Skype for Symbian” supporting E5, C7 and N8 models. The announcement was made via its blog.
The app is now available on 31 models of Nokia and ebay was kind enough to comment that the app was providing “crystal clear” sound even on low connection speed. According to Skype itself, the new upgrade “also makes it easier for users to add contacts, navigate, add a profile photo, set one’s mood message as well as recommend the application to friends who also use Symbian handsets”.
The blog also said “The update also contains a number of interface improvements, making it easier to add contacts, navigate, add a photo to your profile and set your mood message. Additionally, we’ve updated the interface to better fit larger screens.”
Skype is available for free download at its site for PC, mobile and other devices.
