It is being reported that the man that many feel is responsible for the recent iPhone 4 blunder has quit his job at Apple.Mark Papermaster, Apple’s senior vice president of iPhone and iPod hardware engineering will be leaving the company and it is not known if he was fired or if he is leaving of his own free will.
Problems with the iPhone have been rampent as of late, down to an antenna flaw known as the death grip.
People were losing signal when holding their new iPhone 4 models a certain way, and many feel that Apple knew of the glitch but did nothing to fix it.
Now the company is in major damage control, and is offering free bumper cases to consumers who already purchased the phones, and adding them in to the package for those who have not purchased one yet.
Consumers have been shying away from the phone, and even Consumer Reports refuses to recommend it because of the signal problems.
