The newly released phone Nokia C6, which was announced in April and made available to public in July, 2010 has reportedly been updated to newer version 10.0.021. It has also been reported that there have been even newer versions available in Brazil such as 10.0.0.22. Its not just that, but apparently some people in China are updating their handsets to even newer firmware which is 10.0.0.24.
New firmware updates are usually released for better functioning and usability of sets. These firmwares help sort out the bugs, which companies sometimes canaot manage to dig upto in beta testing. So, this new firmware is going to make your telephone experience a lot better. We have yet to see the changelog for Nokia C6, which shall duly be available sometime soon.
It is important to remember that when you go for the update, you must make a backup of your previous settings and data as the new update might end up badly and mess up your valuable information. The only way you can update to newer version is by using Nokia Software Updater as the other ways such as OVI and Over The Air suits are not yet supported. As of now, you might have to be patient as this update is in a process of wide roll out and shall be avilable for you to install soon.
