Hundreds Of iTunes Accounts Hacked

Apple have yet to comment on reports indicating that hundreds of iTunes accounts have been hacked and apps purchased without user consent.

Hundreds of iTunes subscribers noticed weird things upon logging into their accounts over the weekend in the form of purchases made that they did not actually make.

The types of apps being illegally purchased are those developed by developer identified as Thuat Nguyen and have resulted in those specific apps jumping to the top of the iTunes iBook section.

The apps in question have since been removed from the app store but not before hundreds of users were violated and their money spent illegally.

People with iTunes accounts are being advised to log into their accounts and change their password to make sure that they are not at risk of being hacked.

People are also being urged to remove all of their credit card info from their accounts to insure that no purchases can be made if hackers are able to access their account info.

Calling your credit card company if any illegal purchases have been made is also a good idea so if any more are made using your info your card can be frozen to cancel any pending transaction.
